Bring me sunshine!

I felt inspired to make this card as I’ve been planting out my little sunflower plants recently and I can’t wait to see them grow.  Last year we had a bumper crop of giant sunflowers (see pics below for photographic evidence!) and I’m hoping this year’s thrive despite the chilly spring weather!

This card was inspired by the new Freshly Made Sketches card challenge

FMS Final 336-001

I used a craft card base for the card and the stamp was a free gift with a Papercraft Essentials magazine last year (I think!).  The lovely checked yellow paper in the background arrived in the post today along with some pretty washi tapes.  They were a gift from Papercraft Essentials for submitting a card that they published a few months ago.  I hope you like it and the sunflower brings a smile to your face today.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon.

  1. Those sunflowers are amazing! Hoping you have more this year. Love how they are the inspiration for your happy card. Wonderful! So glad you joined us this week at FMS!

    1. Hehe, they were giant, I’m not sure we will be able to hit those heights again! Thanks so much for your comment, I’m really enjoying the challenges and seeing all the variety in how people interpret them. Really inspiring x

  2. A beautiful card. Thank you for visiting and liking my blog, it has given me chance to find you and a new blog too (always a source of inspiration to look at the work others do). I would also like to thank you for the link to “Fresh as a Daisy”. I used to do the “Mojo Monday sketch challenge” each week and was so disappointed when they decided to close their blog.
