Wishing you a rainbow of happiness

Today’s post is something new for me as I’m joining in with a card making challenge from Freshly Made Sketches ( https://tinyurl.com/ydesmssu ).  The sketch for this week’s challenge is….

FMS Final 334-001

I started with selecting a theme and I picked the Brighten your day stamp set for the sentiment and three different sizes of umbrellas.

I also used some distress oxide inks to create a rainbow panel and I spritzed it lightly with some water to get the effect of a few raindrops.

I also used First Edition Craft twin markers, distress oxide inks and Nuovo crystal drops.

To finish off my card I added a blue panel behind the rainbow as per the sketch and then some nuovo drops in opposite corners.

Have a Quacking Time!

I’ve been meaning to sit down and work on some blog posts for too long and I’ve been building up a list of potential topics to write about.  I’m a top class procrastinator but today is the day I’m actually doing it!

As spring has finally sprung in Scotland I thought I would share a cute spring time card I made recently using the Fun on the Farm stamp set from For the love of stamps by Hunkydory.

I’m a huge animal lover and this stamp set is so cute and I’m sure the other animals will be on their way to a project very soon!

I hope that you like these little ducks and the finished card.

Happy Friday and have a great crafty weekend.
