Happy hump day crafty people! Today I thought I would share a challenge I started yesterday. As I was sitting in my craft room surrounded by so many crafty goodies I came across Dances with Pitbulls on youtube and her 100 things challenge (if you look for #dwpc100thingschallenge you will find lots of inspiring videos). The idea is that you have to make 100 “things” before you buy more crafty goodies (apart from glue). The “things” are not necessarily individual items, they might be a collection of similar items or one larger project. I thought this would be perfect to give me some focus to use up some of my stash, particularly some of paper scraps, die cuts and sparkly bits and pieces.
So today I am sharing the first 4 “things” and as you will see I am building up a good supply of items for crafty swaps and happy mail.
The first thing I made was this ATC using a new die set which I couldn’t wait to play with. I think it’s perfect for a summer swap.

Then I used some scraps of summer paper and a die from a magazine set to make these fun sun glass postage stamps. I might use them on mini cards or in a pocket letter.

Then I got a bit carried away with these mini envelopes embellishments with some card scraps, stamped watermelon and a few gems which were gifted to me in a crafty swap. Again I will probably use some in a pocket letter and pop some on mini cards to go in with swaps and happy mail.

Then in the heatwave of July I made some Christmas versions with these cute mini ginger bread men! Hehe you’ve got to start somewhere with Christmas crafts!

So I’m 4 down and 96 to go, I’ll share a few at a time on here. If you are doing the challenge I’d love to see what you are making too (I’m sure I will need ideas soon!). Thanks so much for stopping by.
