Cardmaking

Check up – I dare you!

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you are having a great week and that you found some time for crafting. It’s time for another Daring Cardmakers Challenge and this week we are daring you to check it out! Sorry I can’t help but make all the puns!! Basically all you have to do is include some check pattern on your card!

I decided to make my own with a black sharpie and then made a strip to go down the side of my card. I stamped and coloured one of the gorgeous rhinos from Tracey Hey’s Rhino Rascals stamp set. I fussy cut the cutie out and popped it up on some 3d pads. I chose one of the sentiments from the stamp set and then used the little heart stamps to create a flurry of hearts in colours to match the rhino’s tshirt.

I cant’s wait to check out your cards for this prompt!!!

I know, I know….. sorry! Thanks for stopping by the Ginger Ninja Crafts blog, hopefully I will see you again soon!

Flag Pole – Daring Cardmakers Challenge

Happy Friday crafty friends! I hope you’ve had a great week? It’s time for a new challenge over at the Daring Cardmakers blog and Kathy is our host this week. She would like us to take inspiration from the flag of a country other than your own – there are plenty to choose from! You can use an element from the flag, the design, the colours… Don’t forget to tell us which country’s flag you’ve used

Can you guess which flag inspired this card?

Hopefully you guessed the USA! I used the colours and stars and stripes to make a congratulations card. This is such a fun challenge, let me know in the comments if you are joining in and which flag you are using!

Aud Sentiments #276 – Anything Goes

Hi crafty friends, how are you all doing?

Our new challenge is sponsored by the lovely Jan’s Digi Stamps who very kindly gifted the design team an image and sentiment to make our projects for this “Anything Goes” challenge. I used the gorgeous Camera Life image and one of the sentiments. I coloured the camera with pencils adding detail with a black fine liner pen before fussy cutting it out. I’m continuing with my addiction to tall cards (although maybe it’s not tall when it’s sideways…. anyway!)
