Wicked Wednesday 4

Happy hump day crafty people!  I hope you are all having a fab week and getting in the mood for Halloween!  I’ve been reading some spooky tales, watching some scary movies (well scary to me although I am a wimp!) and making some ghostly projects!

Today I’ve got a couple of cards to share with you.

The first uses the Booyah stamp set from Lawn Fawn which I love!  It has lots of different elements to make a selection of ghosts.  For the above card I went with a Frankenstein, vampire and pirate.  Then I used the Nuvo Shimmer Powder in Violet Brocade to make a background which I then cut 3 circles from once it was dry.  I heat embossed the sentiment in white on black card.  I added some purple gems to give a little bling.

The spider web paper for both of these cards came from the downloads in the member’s section of the Create and Craft website.

The second card I pulled out an old stamp set which I love from Clearly Besotted.  The Good to be Bad set has a selection of fairy tale baddies and I stamped and coloured the three witches from the set.  I used the same format as the first card.  Instead of gems this time I used the spider stamp from the Booyah set to add some creepy crawlies.  I thought the sentiment was perfect for these three girls!

I hope that you like this week’s wicked Wednesday projects.  I’d love to read your comments.  Expect a couple of extra Halloween posts over the next week until Halloween a week today.

Thanks so much for reading my blog, have a great week.

Wicked Wednesday 3

Happy hump day crafty people!  Today I’m back with another Halloween themed crafty project for Wicked Wednesday.  Today’s project is to make some cute little haunted houses using a Tonic Studios die set.

20181017_153057

The dies I used are meant for a Ginger bread house for Christmas time.  I switched up the colours and left off the gingerbread man and the Christmas tree etc.  I added some glitter stickles on the roof and used a ghost die cut to decorate the purple house and some cute ghosts from my Lawn Fawn Booyah stamps for the other.  I’ve popped these on my bookcase with a battery powered tea light inside to make the house look extra spooky!

I hope that you like these cute haunted houses, I’d love to hear about any of your Halloween craft projects.

Wicked Wednesday- Spooky pocket letters!

Hi crafty people, welcome back to another Wicked Wednesday!  This week’s spooky projects are some Halloween themed pocket letters that I made for swapping last year.  The first one I made a haunted house by using all 9 pockets as part of one focal image.  I used a brick embossing folder for the house front and a fence die to make the railings in front of the house.  The second photo is the back just to give an idea of some of the goodies you can fit into a pocket letter.  I’ve included a short letter, heart embellishments, printed ephemera, a little notebook I made with patterned paper, a homemade spider paperclip, some post its and some chocolates and a tea bag!

The second one I’m sharing today was a “spooky summer” theme!  This time I made individual pockets and used a selection of patterned papers, some stickers and die cut embellishments.  The papers are a mix of Halloween and tropical summer themes.  The cutting dies were all from Tattered Lace and I think they are so cute.  I particularly like the Mummy with his bandages hanging off his hands.  I’m sure these dies will show up again very soon!

I hope that these sparked some ideas for Halloween projects, have you got any spooky themed crafts that you are up to this week?  Thanks for visiting Ginger Ninja Crafts
