Happy Friday crafty people! What a quick week it’s been but I won’t complain as I’m ready for another weekend and hoping it will be better weather than the last one.
Well today there is a new challenge up on the Alphabet Challenge Blog and we are up to D for distressed. I’m delighted to be on the design team for this challenge with some very talented crafters. I’m here to share my card for this prompt but I really hope that you will pop over and check out the others interpretation and have a go yourself, you’ve got until the 23rd of May so loads of time!
I went with the torn edge look for distressed and made my torn papers into waves for this cute little boat to be sailing on. It looks a little rough, I hope the sailors aren’t sea sick!
If you are going to have a go with this challenge, drop me a comment below and I would love to check out your entry. Thanks so much for visiting my blog, I hope that I will see you again soon.
Have a wonderful weekend.

I saw another card (nothing like yours) that had used torn paper for water, and I love that idea. I must have a go. Your card is lovely with the little sailing boat it looks so summery.

Thanks Helen, it’s such an easy way to make a card but it does look nice. I think I might have a go with warm colours for a sunset sky. Looking forward to seeing your version x
