Happy hump day crafty people! I hope you are having a wonderful week. A few weeks ago I made some cards using embossing folders to stamp. I couldn’t resist adding in another project on this theme as I really liked the effect.
This time I pulled out a mandala type embossing folder and I used black archival ink. When I tried stamping it by hand I didn’t get a good effect at all so I ran it through the big shot to get a better impression as well as embossed.
Once the ink had dried I used a water brush and some distress oxide inks to paint the mandala and than added a stamped sentiment in the centre. I thought the finished effect was a bit like a tile.
Here’s a close up of the final card…..
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit the Ginger Ninja Crafts blog.

Hi, Jenny! This stamp/embossed mandala card is lovely! Did the archival ink clean off the embossing folder easily?

It did leave a stain but it didn’t come off on the card when I used the folder again. xx

Jenny, I love the look you got and they way you completed it is beautiful! The sentiment in the center is perfect. The texture you have on this gives it so much depth.
