Hi crafty people, how are you all doing today? I hope you have something nice planned for the weekend? It’s Friday so it must be time for a new Daring Cardmakers Challenge. As we are in a new month we have an elements prompt where you are challenged to use at least 3 elements from this image.
I decided to use the playing cards, dice and the yellow colour. I used a Dovecraft die set to cut the playing cards. The Happy Birthday stamp is from an MFT set and the poker chips were a printout that I fussy cut. I made the dice myself with some black card and flat back pearls for the dots!
I hope that you will hop on over to the Daring Cardmakers Challenge to see all the fab projects made by the talented design team. We’d love to see your entry!
I would also like to enter this card for the following challenges:
Hi crafty people! How’s your week going? We’ve got a very wet day here which the garden is loving although I wasn’t when walking back from the dropping the car off at the garage for a service!
It’s perfect crafting weather though, so I’m busy with an order of 50 cards to get sent off to Australia but I also wanted to share my entry for the Cardz 4 Galz challenge #100 . To mark the 100th challenge the theme is “celebrate”. I’m a little ashamed to say that I’ve had this die in my stash for at least a couple of years and it was still in the packaging, unused! So I decided now was the time to give it a go.
The celebrate die is from Tattered Lace and it’s called Monumental Celebrate. The balloons, party hat and crown are from the Party Dies set from First Edition Craft.
I’m going to need to make an envelope I think for this one as I don’t have one in my stash but I liked how it came out. If you like your cards to really stand out on the shelf in among all the others I think this die is perfect!
Thanks so much for visiting the blog and I hope to see you again soon. I also sell a selection of cards on my Etsy Shop, the Ginger Ninja Crafts Shop if you are looking for a card to send to someone special.
Happy Tuesday everyone! Today I thought I would share a little about the Ginger Ninja Craft Shop on Etsy. This is my fab logo which my husband’s talented nephew created for me inspired by my very fluffy ginger cat (although he seems to think he’s a parrot perched on my shoulder here!)
I love being crafty and designing and making cards is my favourite crafty pastime so having a shop is the perfect excuse to make lots of stock! I’ve had orders from all over the world, from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, USA, Canada, Chile and all over Europe and it’s always exciting to know my cards have traveled so far.
Do any of you sell on Etsy? I’d love to check out your shops if you do and if you pop over to my wee corner of Etsy let me know what you think. Have a great day
