Hi crafty people! I hope you are having a great week. It’s such a hectic time of year that I’ve hardly been on my blog and I’m missing it. I’m hoping to get a bit of time later today with a cuppa to read through some blog posts and see what everyone has been up to.
I’m here to share my contribution to the new Aud Sentiments Challenge which is to create a winter or Christmas themed project with a sentiment.
The sponsor for this challenge is Digi Doodle Studios who have a gorgeous range of digital stamps and they kindly gifted the DT members a stamp to use for the challenge.
I made an easel card with some starry paper and a few gold gems to add a little extra sparkle. I hope you will enter the challenge, it’s open for a little longer because of the holidays season so you have until the 6th of January next year!
Happy Friday crafty people! I hope you are having a fab day. Today I am excited to join the Alphabet Challenge design team for a few months. I love this challenge and I hope that you will pop over and check out the great projects from the design team as well as share your entry for this challenge – B for Buildings.
I decided it was the perfect excuse to play with my Build-a-house die set from Gemini for Crafter’s Companion. It’s a great die set with lots of individual components so you can create lots of different looks.
I built up my house on a card panel and then decided to add it to an easel card with the sentiment on a raised panel to prop up the easel. The sentiment die is from a First Edition die set that I’ve used lots of times.
I love how an easel card looks and I think they really stand out in among other cards.
Thanks so much for visiting the Ginger Ninja Crafts blog, I’d love if you left a comment. Please let me know if you are joining in with the challenge too.
Hi crafty people, I hope you are all having a fab day. Today I’m sharing a card for the Paper Players Challenge , which currently has a Christmas theme. This was a new challenge to me but I do love a crafty challenge!
I decided to go for a snowman theme and pulled out a stamp that I bought last year from Wild Rose Studio. I stamped it in memento ink and coloured it with a mix of alcohol pens from spectrum noir, Nuvo and First edition. I added a little sparkle with the spectrum noir sparkle pen.
To make the scene for my snowmen I cut a scalloped circle from royal blue and a white circle to go on top. I heat embossed some snow flakes in 3 different colours and added some white glitter card for the snow on the ground. Then I mounted the cute snow family on top.
To make the stopper I just added a blue circle with a sparkly mini christmas tree and raised it with some foam pads.
I hope that you like my finished card, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and I hope to see you again soon.
