Happy Friday crafty people! I hope you are getting set for the weekend. If you are looking for some crafting inspiration then you are in luck as there is a new Alphabet Challenge! We are now up to J and you have a choice, either Joy or a joy fold and I went for the joy fold for my project.
A joy fold card is like two cards rolled into one. I used two square card bases (10 cm and 15 cm). To decorate the larger card I cut 7.5 cm from the front panel to allow space for the smaller card to fold over this flap. I added some patterned papers onto the front panel and the inside panel of the larger card (layered up on a lilac card). I then glued the back of the smaller card to the inside of the larger card. I decorated the front of the smaller card with coordinated papers.
To add some decoration I fussy cut some of the doily images from the patterned papers and stuck them on the inside of the cards to add some interest. Then I die cut two cute cup cakes and the sentiment from the Sue Wilson Treat Yourself Cupcakes set from Creative Expressions.
Here are a few different views of the finished card…..

I hope you will have a go at making your own joy fold card (or just a card inspired by the word “Joy”) and enter our challenge. The rest of the design team have made a great selection of projects to inspire you. Thanks so much for stopping by to visit my blog, I hope to see you again soon!
