Going round in circles – I dare you!

Happy Friday crafty people! How are you all doing? I’ve had a good week making lots of Christmas cards for my Etsy shop and dithering about if I should sign up to any craft fairs for the upcoming festive season (I’m thinking not and hoping that things are much more under control for next year and I’ll be back with a bang then, is anyone else going for it this year?).

Anyway it’s Friday so that means it’s time for a new Daring Cardmakers Challenge! This week I am hosting and I decided to set the challenge to ask you to go round in circles!  I’d love to see circles of all sizes on your cards, you could use a round card base, a circle frame or include some spotty and dotty patterns.

For my project I started by making a bocca (is that how you spell it, please tell me if I’m wrong!) background using distress oxide inks in kitsch flamingo, worn lipstick and picked raspberry and brilliance moonlight white ink. I then die cut out a variety of circles in different sizes. I arranged these on a square card base and then added a die cut happy birthday and lots of nuvo drops (glitter drops – enchanting pink and crystal drops – metallic.

I hope you will hop on over to the blog to see all the design team makes and share you circle card. I can’t wait to see what you get a-round to!

  1. What a fun and pretty card Jenny! I love your circles of circles, no matter how it’s spelled.
My daughter and I went to the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo here on Friday. We have both been vaccinated and wore masks to it. It was pretty small, with only 16 vendors, but lots of people in the morning and very few after lunch. We had fun shopping, but were careful and used lots of hand sanitizer. They did have things spread out a bit more and had hand sanitizing stations around.
