Aud Sentiments #274 – Flowers

Hi crafty friends, how are you all doing today? I’m here to share my make for the new Aud Sentiments Challenge which is launched today. Our theme is flowers and of course we need to include a sentiment! I think we all love flowers and now I have a garden I am so enjoying growing them! Here are a few that are currently blooming…..

It’s a little slow as we’ve still been pretty cold, yesterday we had a heavy hail storm but the sunset was a cracker!

Our generous sponsor this time is Stamper’s Delights.

I was kindly gifted the Kawaii Cute as a Bug set which came with four different digi stamps to colour plus the sentiment. I used the floral outline to create my card base, the main image of the little girl watering her garden and the sentiment.

To start with I printed to flower outline on 2 sheets of patterned papers (blue spotty and a pale yellow with white pattern). I cut out the yellow centre and layered it on the blue flower. Then I glued the blue paper onto a 7 x7 inch card blank and once it was dry I cut around the flower to create a floral card base. I coloured the little scene with coloured pencils and some alcohol pens. I decided that as the sentiment mentioned a bug I would turn the little girl into a lady bird so I created some spots on her hat. I was recently gifted a few of the tiny wooden ladybirds in some happy mail and I though that would be the perfect finishing touch!

I hope little Miss Ladybird and her flower garden make you smile today! I can’t wait to see all the flowery cards for this challenge! Thanks so much for visiting my blog, I hope to see you again soon!
