SAL Sunday 2020 – 14

Happy Sunday crafty people and welcome to the latest SAL post. It’s a windy day in Scotland and over the last three weeks we’ve had some more restrictions as the covid numbers are increasing again. There are so many loud voices complaining on social media and people who seem to be angry at the changes in our daily lives. Maybe it’s easier to be angry than scared, but I suspect there are more of us just trying to get on the best we can and follow the rules, we’re just not making as much noise about it! I think our Scottish Government is doing a good job with the limited powers they have and they are having to make really difficult decisions to try to save lives and minimise the harm which this pandemic is causing to people’s health and wellbeing and the economics of the country. I don’t envy them but I am grateful for their efforts. Anyway, I have strayed far off the topic of cross stitch! So I have enjoyed doing some stitching in the dark evenings and made some good progress. Last time I shared this photo of my stitching….

This is the progress I’ve made this time:

This SAL is organised by the lovely Avis. who keeps us all on track (it’s always a surprise to me when the email comes in and I think it cannot be 3 weeks already!!)

I’m looking forward to catching up with all the other blogs in this SAL group.  Please give them a visit too, I’ve linked them here so you can easily find them.

Avis , Claire, Gun, Carole, Sue, Constanze  ,Christina, Kathy , Margaret , Cindy  , Heidi , Jackie , Sunny , Hayley ,Megan , Deborah , Mary Margaret, Renee, Carmela,  SharonDaisyAnne ,ConnieAJLaura, Cathie and Linda, and Helen

Stay safe and be gentle with yourself at this time.

  1. You’re right, here too there is a return to restrictions … patience. Fortunately, I can devote myself to cross-stitch and so calm my thoughts. Then your sunflowers are so cheerful and sunny! Warm the heart …

  2. These sunflowers are spectacular and have brightened up the dreary rainy day here 🙂 Goodness they look so life like. The butterfly is darling too. I appreciated your thoughts on covd, it really is awful 😦
