Daring Card Makers Challenge

Happy Friday crafty people! I hope you are all safe and well. Today there is a new challenge up at the Daring Card Makers and this time Svenja has challenged us to make something with a Mexican or Frida Kahlo theme, (think flowers, bold colours, strong eyebrows!)

I started off with making a little sombrero before deciding that it would be for an alpaca! I used the Marion Designs Collectables Eline’s Alpaca die set and popped the sombrero on with a few added tassles and pom poms!

I made an easel card base with a 6 x 6 inch square card. I used some papers from the Mexican Madness paper pad from Hobbycraft to create a background. I used the same papers to make a panel inside. The sentiment is from a magazine gift set which I’ve used many times. I added some mats and layers and raised it up on a 3d pads to make a little stopper for the card.

I hope you will come and join in the fun! Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope to see you again soon!

Crafty hugs

Jenny (AKA the Ginger Ninja!) xx
