Sending Sunny Thoughts Your Way

Hi crafty people, how are you doing? The sun may not be shining in Scotland today (well my wee corner of it!) but it’s not raining and that is good enough at the moment! It’s Thursday and that has become the day we have a treat of fish and chips for dinner as my hubby’s golf club have started doing a take away service. We wanted to support them and it’s so nice to have a treat and a night without having to cook! Anyway back to crafting!

In the last year or so I’ve been converted to using digi stamps and one of my favourite places to get them is Bugaboo stamps. They often have a freebie and I used the current one for this project. I think it’s called Flamingo and Sand. I see they are also having a Christmas in July sale so if you fancy a look there are some bargains to be had. They also run a challenge and this card was inspired by their sketch challenge.

I used alcohol pens to colour the image before fussy cutting it out. I found some papers to complement the colours in my image and a nice pink ribbon to compliment the flamingo. I added a sentiment and some nuvo drops! So here is my finished card…..
