Happy Friday! It’s time for another prompt over at the Daring Cardmakers Challenge and the lovely Ruth is hosting this week’s challenge. The prompt is “Glamorous” and you can make whatever makes you feel like a movie star!
It took me a little while to come up with a plan for this one and then I remembered I had a Hunkydory kit that would be just perfect. The Collage-a-Card includes several shaped cards with embellishments and I used the “Beautiful Dress” set. The different elements were pressed out from the sheet and the little pips trimmed off.
I folded the second mannequin (which comes pre scored) to make a stand for the card.
I glued the bodice onto the mannequin and folded pleats into the skirt before gluing in place. The rose and bow were added with a little glue.
The folded mannequin was glued onto the back of the main outline.
The sentiment was glued onto the skirt and the finishing touch of the pearl trim was glued into place with a hot glue gun on the reverse of the card.
Voila! A glamorous outfit fit for a movie star! I hope you will visit the Daring Cardmakers Challenge to see all the other projects created by the design team and share your glam makes too! I’ll be back this afternoon with another design team post.

OMGosh, I L-O-V-E this! I know a few girlie-girls who’d love it too! Thanks for sharing!
What a great 3-D card!
Perfect for the glam theme, this turned out beautifully Jenny!
I wanted to pop in and comment on this project too whilst I was doing the sal posts Jenny. I saw both it and the little hippo card you made recently but didn’t get chance to comment at the time. This one is so pretty and the hippo was so cute. Well done on both of them xx
Wow this is amazing!!
