Hi crafty people! How are you all doing? It’s a gorgeous sunny weekend here in Scotland and we have started our phase 1 out of lockdown! It’s a very gradual process which personally I find reassuring as I do worry that the numbers will spike again if things go back too quickly. However it’s lovely to have little freedoms, my husband had a socially distanced game of golf yesterday and I met a friend and her kids for a socially distanced walk! Simple things that used to be taken for granted but it was so good to enjoy them again. Anyway…. that’s not what I’m here for today! It’s been three weeks since my last SAL (stitch along) post so it’s time for an update. I had started a new project which many of you correctly guessed was sunflowers!
This is where I was 3 weeks ago…
Three weeks later I have made some progress….
This SAL is organised by the lovely Avis. and she does a great job of keeping us on track, so a big thanks to you!
I’m looking forward to catching up with all the other blogs in this SAL group. Please give them a visit too, I’ve linked them here so you can easily find them.

We have started our local Phase 1 of reopening also here on Long Island. Not much will change for my husband and I though. I love your sunflower. You have made a lot of progress.

lovely progress Jenny ^^ and yep, it’s nice to be able to get out for some fresh air, even if we are still having to respect distances.

Let’s see if you can finish your sunflower before mine show up in the garden. There’s a challenge 😉 Looking great so far!

So pretty Jenny! And I completely understand how you feel. We just started phase 2 of reopening here in Western NY. I get my haircut Tuesday! Yay!

Aw enjoy it! We are still many weeks away from a hair appointment but that’s ok, everyone is in the same boat and it’s going to feel so lovely to get it done when it’s safe here. xx

Super progress – we have started to move out of lockdown and I am now back to school. Like you, I am still a little worried, but it is good to get some socially distanced freedom (although less so in the classroom!)
