SAL Sunday 2020 – 5

Hi crafty people!  It’s time for a SAL (stitch-a-long) update and I have had quite a bit of time for stitching due to being on lockdown!  Three weeks ago this was my project…..

Currently it’s looking like this….

Last time it wasn’t very clear what I was stitching but I hope that it’s now a bit clearer that it’s a cat’s face.  I need to have a look through my threads to find some greens as the eye on the pattern is yellow but I want to make him look more like my late grey cat who had beautiful green eyes.  Maybe that will be done in the next three weeks!

This SAL is organised by the lovely Avis. and she does a great job of keeping us on track, so a big thanks to you!  We have a new member of the SAL this time, so welcome to Sherrie, it’s great to have you with us. Sherrie brings our number up to 30, which is amazing!

I’m looking forward to catching up with all the other blogs in this SAL group.  Please give them a visit too, I’ve linked them here so you can easily find them.

  1. I find it interesting that folks either have more time for stitching as a result of the pandemic or they can’t seem to get any done at all. I also saw a bird resting its’ head on its’ breast at first. Now I see the cat more clearly and it’s looking great!
