Happy Sunday crafty people! I’m back with another stitch along (SAL) post. I was away on holiday for the last one so it’s been 6 weeks since I shared an update. This SAL is organised by the lovely Avis. The idea is to finish off a UFO (or Unfinished Object!) and let me tell you I have lots of those! If you fancy joining in then contact Avis and she will give you all the information you need.
Three weeks ago I was working on my sweet pea square from my floral alphabet. I haven’t been doing these in any order, just hopping around depending on my mood to pick the next one.
So last time I checked in I was here, (close to finishing):
This time I have finished off the sweet peas….
…and made a start on the next square….. anyone like to make a guess which flower I’m currently stitching?
I hope that in three weeks time I will have this one finished off so I can reveal the completed square and see if anyone guessed right!
I’m looking forward to catching up with all the other blogs in this SAL group, please give them a visit too, I’ve linked them here so you can easily find them, we’ve had a couple of stitchers step out this time (sorry to see you go Helen and Clare) and we are welcoming back Connie who has been on a little stitch-along break.

The little flowers are very cute. I think that it is either grape hyacinths or iris. Very nice work – are they going to be joined together?

Thanks so much, good guesses! I can’t quite decide how I will use them, someone had a good suggestion to make some bunting do I might try that. Thanks for your kind comment. Jenny xx

The sweet peas are gorgeous! I’m going to guess iris for the other square, based on the leaf shape and flower colour 🙂

The Sweet Pea is sweet indeed. My first thought for the next flower was iris, like so many others. There are some other good guesses though. It’ll be fun to see what they are – be sure to get them all stitched up for us! 😉
