Cardmaking

Being good is overrated!!

Happy Monday!  How are you all doing?  I hope you had a fab weekend.  I was in Glasgow yesterday at the craft fair at the SECC and I picked up a few new crafty items to play with!  We also were celebrating the Springboks win and looking forward to the Rugby World Cup final next weekend!

I had such fun playing along with the Cat Lover’s Blog Hop last week so it’s feeling a little strange to be sharing a project that doesn’t have a single cat on it!  I was inspired by the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge #146 for this project.

I decided to use the Good to be Bad stamp set from Clearly Besotted.  I used some pink glitter card and made an inky background for my witch by smooshing distress oxides in abandoned coral and picked raspberry as well as the milled lavender distress ink.  I added some little star stamps and the sentiment heat embossed in white.

I used the spectrum noir sparkle pen in crystal clear over the witches outfit to make it a little more bling!

I’d also like to enter this project into the Cardz 4 Gals challenge which is to use something beginning with S.  I’m counting the sparkly elements and the stars!  I’m also including this card in theLeigh SB Designs 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop (I’m a little late to the game but better late than never!)

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and for all the lovely comments I have been getting recently.  I love chatting with everyone and finding new blogs to follow.  I hope to see you again soon.

  1. Definitely overrated – I know the difference between good and bad: bad is the fun one. Really love this card, the cute little witch, the background, the sentiment and the sparkle. Perfect for our Pink Halloween challenge at SoSS

    1. Thanks so much Leigh, I’m Scottish but my husband is South African. As you can imagine he was a very happy boy yesterday with the rugby result! He was born in Knysna and his family are mostly in Pretoria. We were just over visiting in September. I’ve never been to Durban but it’s on the list! Thanks so much for your kind comment xx
