Day 4 of the Cat Lovers Hop

Happy Thursday!  I hope you are having a good week.  I’ve been having lots of fun participating in the Cat Lovers Hop (hosted by the lovely Janis over at Her Peaceful Garden.  If you are a cat fan like me it’s worth hopping over to see the huge range of projects and entering in the different daily challenges as there are lots of amazing prizes.

As it’s day 4 and I only have 3 cats today’s project is not inspired by any of my own fluffy family members!  I used stamps from the Cute Kitties collection by For the Love of Stamps.  I coloured the cat with a water brush and some distress inks (pumice stone and barn door) and distress oxide in blue print sketch.

I stamped a background with the cute little mouse from the stamp set and then used a stamp die from my stash and added a purrrfect sentiment!

I hope you are all having a purrrfect day.  Thanks so much for visiting the blog and I hope you will pop back soon.

  1. I see the beret and understand why some think this cat looks French, but I think he looks nautical. He’s ready to go to sea, hunting down any rodents that might be on the (French) sailing vessel. Adorable card!!
Thanks so much for playing along in the #2019CatLoversHop!!

  2. Well, I don’t speak French, but if I did I would certainly send a shout out to this adorable card. On the other hand, I agree with Janis too, on the fact that he looks nautical as well…maybe a pirate? In that case, I say, “Arrrr Mately, that there is one fine kitty!”
