SAL Sunday 10

Happy Sunday crafty people!  I hope you are having a fab weekend.  We managed to get our patio finished off yesterday, the last of the big garden jobs for 2019!  Now we can just enjoy the space and focus on the fun gardening jobs.  Anyway, that’s not why I’m here today, it’s time for another SAL post!  In case you haven’t seen one of my SAL posts before I should explain.  SAL stands for Stitch Along and this one is organised by the lovely Avis.  The idea is to finish off a UFO (or Unfinished Object!) and let me tell you I have lots of those!  If you fancy joining in then contact Avis and she will give you all the information you need.

So three weeks ago I was picking up this ….

Three weeks later I have finished off the oriental poppy….

and almost finished off the crocus (just waiting for one thread to arrive so I can complete it!)

and I made a small start on the daffodil….

These are such a nice size to work on.  Now the patio is finished I’m hoping I can sit outside and work on these over the next 3 weeks!  Fingers crossed the Scottish weather allows!

I’m looking forward to catching up with all the other blogs in this SAL group, please give them a visit too, I’ve linked them here so you can easily find them.

    1. thanks Sherri, I hadn’t picked it up for years either but this has been the year to finish off lots of long forgotten stitching projects! I’m really enjoying it for a change from all my paper crafting x

  1. Jenny, these are so pretty! I especially love the Oriental poppy (one of my favorite flowers), but the other two are also gorgeous. Congrats on finishing the patio and fingers crossed you’ll be out there stitching for loads of summer to come!
