Hi crafty people, how are you today? I hope you are all doing well. We are a “man” down in the Ginger Ninja household as the Ginger Ninja himself is poorly and has been at the vets since Sunday morning. He had a blockage in his bladder so he was really distressed and sore but after surgery and lots of TLC from the vets and nurses he is on the mend and I hope we can bring him home really soon because we are all missing him. Here’s a pic from healthier times!
I have been crafting as a good distraction and I’d like to share a festive make for the following challenges:
Crafty Hazlenuts Christmas Challenge #446
Here is my card:
I used a new Sizzix die and I coloured his face and beard with some alcohol inks. I paper pieced the hat with some red card and a glitter white for the fur and pom pom.
I thought I would finish off with a few pics from our wander around Edinburgh on Saturday night. We managed to find 7 of the “Oor Wullie” statues that are dotted around the city. I used to read the Oor Wullie cartoons in the Sunday post as a kid so it was fun to see a few and I hope to see some more before they get auctioned for children’s charities.
Thanks so much for visiting the blog and I hope to see you again soon!

Your card is great. I love the beard. Hopefully your cat heals quickly. It’s so difficult when the 4 legged members of our families are ill. Your “wander” pictures look like you had a lot of fun.

Jenny, your card is beautiful! I just got a winter themed stamp set out myself. I hope your furry friend is back home soon. And…your town looks lovely! I love themed displays like that (Baltimore (closest city to me) had one YEARS ago that was decorated fish).
