Cardmaking

Cheers to the weekend!

Happy Saturday crafty people! I hope you are having a fab weekend.  It’s raining here so it’s perfect weather for some craftiness while my husband watches the Scottish Open on TV.  I’m hoping it’s going to dry out a bit later on as we are heading into town for dinner and I would like to be able to walk around the city centre to see some of the Oor Wullie statues which are dotted around Edinburgh at the moment.  Have you heard of Oor Wullie?  I’d be interested to see if any non Scots have!  If I see any today I will share a pic in the next blog so you can see what I’m talking about!

I am sharing a project today for the Joy of Sets Challenge which is a new one for me.  I saw Anne-Marie’s DT blog post and thought I would join in.  This is the current grid:julygrid

I went with the top horizontal line, partly because I can’t resist glitter.  I made a glittery cocktail for the beverage and added a couple of ribbons layered on the side of an embossed panel.  I actually hit the last vertical line too!

I hope you like my cocktail card and that you have a great weekend.  Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope to see you again soon.

  1. Hi Jenny, I love the Oor Wullies! We spent a great day with out little grandson searching them out in Aberdeen a couple of weeks ago….he loved it. 3. I love your card, the different greens are fabulous. Thanks for joining in with #josttt007 and we hope to see you back again next month. I guess you were lucky to get rain so you could craft, I wish we had some down in south Wales, we’ve been dry for so long and everything is looking a bit parched.
