Hi crafty people, how is your weekend going? I hope you are finding time for some relaxation and fun. We’ve had a lovely weekend. We went to the cinema on Friday night to see Robert the Bruce which was excellent. Yesterday I met up with friends for a walk and then my hubby and I went out for dinner at a restaurant in our village and we made it home in time for him to see South Africa win at the cricket so he was very happy! Today I’ve been pottering in the garden with the cats and I thought I would share a few pics before I get onto the main business of sharing a crafty make!! Having the greenhouse has allowed me to plant lots of things from seed (including all of these in the pics). You’ll see peas, courgettes (green and yellow), nasturtiums, livingstone daisies, marigolds, aubergines and cucumber plants.
This is the card I made for the following challenges:
My Favourite Things Sketch Challenge 444
My Time To Craft Challenge #400 Oh I do like to be beside the seaside
The theme was the perfect excuse for me to use my Tracey Hey stamps again! I do love those stamps!!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and I hope to see you again soon!
Crafty hugs
Jenny (AKA the Ginger Ninja!) x
I love Livingstone Daisies, not had much success with them. The veg look tasty. Super sentiment on the card.

Thanks Cathy, it’s the first time I’ve grown them from seed so I’m hoping to get more flowers, 3 so far, although it’s so dull and wet today they are all closed! x

Your card is lovely! The bubbles are perfect. And I’m so glad to see your cucumbers are the same size as ours…I was worried mine weren’t growing as fast as they should 🙃

I think the cold weather earlier last month has delayed the garden a bit here so hopefully a bit warmer and we will have a good crop! x

Your garden is just wonderful. I miss having a garden! Our yard is too small now for one. I especially miss my homegrown tomatoes and watermelon!! I love your card too!! It is so cute!!

Oo I’m sure the Scottish climate would not manage watermelons! Thanks for your kind comments xx

Aw thanks Kathy, it’s been great fun. We had one of the plastic material ones for a couple of years but the winds got it last year and it ripped so we treated ourselves to a proper one in the sales after Christmas. It was a challenge putting it up but I love it 🙂

DH just found a guy with 14 old storm doors, and he bought them, so we will at minimum have a cold frame, and eventually a full greenhouse!!! I am excited!
