H is for Handbags (Alphabet Challenge)

Happy Friyay! Today there is a new challenge coming up on the Alphabet Challenge and the prompt is H for handbags or hats!  I’m much more of a handbag person than a hat person so I decided to make a card shaped like a bag.

I took a sheet of A4 card in navy blue and cut a strip that is 10.5 cm wide.  I scored it at 4cm, 15cm and 18.5cm.  I took some snake effect patterned paper from a Hunkydory pad and cut some panels to go on the front and inside.  I added some rounded corners to the top flap and cut a bow from the same navy card.  To keep the bag closed I added a velcro dot. I cut a circle to make the handle and glued that onto the bag.
