Happy Tuesday crafty people! I hope you are having a great day! I scheduled this post ahead of time because we have been down in London for a short break for our wedding anniversary. I’m sure I will have some tales to tell as we have lots of fun things planned but as I type it’s not happened yet (I think this is the closest to time travel I will get!)
Anyway, back to the purpose of this post…. it’s another entry for a challenge! Today I’m here to enter the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers D for Diet challenge. I have had this set since the start of the year when it was a gift with the Creative Stamping Magazine. This was the perfect opportunity to get these stamps inky.
First I cut a frame from pink mirror board. Then I cut a square from white card and heat embossed the hourglass stamp in white. I then blended over this with distress inks (Tattered Rose, Milled Lavender & Picked Raspberry).
I picked one of the Acid Drops and What Nots stamps from the set and stamped this lady on the scales with black archive ink. I used the same distress inks to give some subtle colour to the image before fussy cutting her out. I stamped the sentiment onto white card and matted it on some of the pink mirror card.
I then assembled the card and popped the sentiment up on 3d pads to give it a little dimension.
I hope my card raised a little smile, and thanks again for visiting the Ginger Ninja Crafts blog.

Happy anniversary! I have that stamp set too (in fact I used part of it on my SOSS DT card for this challenge) and am loving it, such great images and fun sentiments. I love the monochrome colour scheme you’ve used here and that emboss resist background is perfect. Thanks for sharing at SOSS
