Hi everyone, hope you are having a great week. Today I am sharing a card I made for the new Freshly Made Sketches Challenge (check it out at Freshly Made Sketches 353)
The sketch for the challenge this week is….
I know it’s only just the start of September but I had ordered a couple of new Halloween stamp sets and I couldn’t resist using them today! So I decided to have a play with some distress oxide inks for smooshing the backgrounds and then coloured and fussy cut the stamped images. I absolutely love these wee ghosts, so sweet!
I used a bit of mixture of alcohol pens to colour as I don’t have a full set of any brand! My mixture includes the Spectrum Noirs, First Edition markers by Trimcraft and Nuvo by Tonic. I would love to try some Copic markers but I haven’t made the investment yet as they are pretty pricey!
So I ended up making two cards but I think I’m going to enter the green one because I am loving the wee Frankenstein ghost!
Have you started making any Halloween projects or do you think it’s too early? Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my blog post.
